❤️LOLA NEEDS OUR HELP❤️ Lola was recently $❤️LOLA NEEDS OUR HELP❤️ Lola was recently found hiding in a garage in a rural, Oklahoma county; weak and barely able to walk. The gentleman who found her reached out to the local shelter, but they were unable to provide the necessary care it was clear she needed. Thankfully, our rural shelter partner reached out to Nexus Pets and she was transferred to our care. We immediately took Lola to one of our partner veterinary clinics, where x-rays revealed three pelvic fractures, and she underwent critical surgery to repair the damage. To date her medical expenses have exceeded $3,000. Despite her suffering, Lola remains sweet and gentle, inspiring everyone she meets. Once fully recovered, she will be available for adoption through Nexus Pets. We are able to provide this extraordinary medical treatment for Lola and others like her through our Rita's Angel Fund. This fund, created in 2018, supports animals in our programs by providing the funds needed for extra diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and medications.
